The Rustik Fork is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Prep Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team.
We are a locally owned full-service restaurant focused on high-quality, scratch-made food and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. We are looking for someone who works well in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their work, stays organized, and understands the importance of consistency and cleanliness.
Responsibilities include:
Daily food prep and station setup
Preparing ingredients according to recipes and restaurant standards
Working a line station during service as needed
Following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
Properly labeling, dating, rotating, and storing food
Assisting with opening and closing kitchen duties
Working efficiently with the chef and kitchen team
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant kitchen experience preferred
Prep and/or line cook experience
Reliable and punctual
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Must be available for evenings and weekends
Compensation: Based on experience + tips.
Schedule: Part-time to full-time available
