We are seeking an experienced Lighting Maintenance Technician to perform commercial and outdoor lighting maintenance throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County.
The ideal candidate is an experienced electrical technician who can independently troubleshoot electrical and lighting systems, safely operate a bucket truck, and provide professional service at customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of commercial and outdoor lighting systems
- Diagnose electrical and lighting problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controls, photocells, timers, contactors, and related equipment
- Replace lamps, ballasts, LED fixtures, drivers, photocells, and other lighting components
- Safely operate and work from a bucket truck
- Work from ladders and elevated platforms when necessary
- Perform basic electrical testing using meters and other diagnostic equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and document completed work
- Communicate professionally with customers and property managers
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and electrical codes
- Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in good condition
Qualifications
- Previous experience in lighting maintenance, electrical service, or a related field
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Must be trained and experienced in driving and operating a bucket truck
- Ability to work safely at heights
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
- Familiarity with commercial lighting systems and controls
- Valid California driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication and customer-service skills
Compensation
$30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Service Area
Work will primarily be performed throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County.
