NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED STOCKROOM SUPERVISOR
HR Direct Services is seeking an experienced Stockroom Supervisor for a manufacturing company in Pomona, CA.
IMPORTANT: PREVIOUS MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. Candidates without manufacturing industry experience will not be considered.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the position expected to transition to an exempt/salaried classification following successful completion of approximately 90 days.
We are looking for an experienced manufacturing leader with at least 5 years of supervisory, leadership, and delegation experience within a manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise daily stockroom and inventory-control operations
Direct and delegate work to Stockroom Clerks, Receiving, Shipping, and support personnel
Coordinate scheduling and release of parts for manufacturing and production
Monitor stock levels and assist with requisitioning materials and components
Maintain accurate inventory records, databases, and system procedures
Monitor receiving, shipping, material movement, and parts availability
Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
Support cycle counts and physical inventories
Coordinate with Finance, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, and Receiving
Train, coach, and provide daily direction to employees
REQUIRED – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING:
MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Stockroom, inventory control, materials, warehouse, or manufacturing operations experience
Experience supervising Receiving, Shipping, Stockroom, or related employees
Strong knowledge of inventory-control procedures and material movement
Experience with ERP, MRP, inventory, or manufacturing management systems
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
M2M ERP experience is a plus
PAY: $30.00 PER HOUR
