Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick, LLP (www.ddwklaw.com) is a mid-sized, multi-office business law firm with deep roots in San Diego.
The firm seeks to hire an experienced litigation paralegal to join our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of litigation experience, with construction litigation experience preferred.
The position will assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial. Responsibilities include preparing and responding to discovery, drafting subpoenas, pleadings and other legal documents, managing case files and document productions, and assisting with deposition and trial preparation. The paralegal will also review and summarize records and case materials, calendar and track litigation deadlines, and coordinate with clients, experts, opposing counsel and vendors.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of California state court procedures and litigation deadlines are important. Candidates must meet California paralegal requirements.
