Job Overview
Seeking a General Maintenance professional for operations and upkeep of our senior community and commercial property all within the same vicinity. This role involves performing maintenance/construction tasks across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be tasked with interacting with residents, possessing strong construction skills, and demonstrate leadership in maintenance activities. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and aesthetic appeal of our properties, creating a welcoming and friendly environment for residents and tenants within our community. Responsibilities:
-Conduct preventative maintenance on mobile homes and the grounds to ensure optimal curb appeal and safety.
-Perform repairs involving basic plumbing and general maintenance.
-Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, masonry, carpentry experience a plus (we call in professionals for larger scale projects).
-Oversee facilities maintenance projects including painting, cleaning and repairs in residential or commercial settings.
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities by reporting work completed to our office onsite.
-Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during large-scale repairs or upgrades if needed.
-Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility regulations while delivering excellent customer service to residents or clients.
-Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb to preform work and inspect work sites; lift, move and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs., and heavier weights with the use of proper team work and equipment.
Requirements
-Applicant must have their own reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and no criminal record.
-Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields within manufacturing or residential environments.
-General to strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and familiarity with schematics.
-Ability to operate basic tools and equipment.
-Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
-Basic proficiency in painting, stucco repair, roofing techniques is a plus, but not required.
-Willingness to clean and perform general grounds clean up.
-Be a team player with ensuring rental units are rent ready in a timely manner.
