LeadAccount Technical Strategist- U.S. Public Sector
The Lead Account Technology Strategist (ATS) serves as the technical advisor for some of the most strategically complex and sensitive government accounts within the Citrix North America Government portfolio. This roleengageswith senior military and civilian technologyleaders, andsupportsdefense agencies to shape and execute mission-aligned technology strategies.
The position translates functional strategy into actionable account plans with one-to-two-year impact horizons,establishestechnical and operational roadmaps, and provides measurable input into product direction, delivery standards, and go-to-market motions that influence federal mission outcomes. TheSeniorATS engages mission owners, program officers, acquisition teams, and senior IT/security stakeholders to architect Citrix technology roadmaps aligned to classified and unclassified requirements, cybersecurity mandates, and Department of War (DoW/ DoD) modernization priorities including JADC2, ICAM, Zero Trust Architecture, and the DoD Cloud Strategy.
Success in this role requires deep technical mastery of Citrixtechnologies, NetScaler, enterprise security, and DaaS in highly regulated environments, along with strong fluency in federal acquisition processes, clearance-sensitive execution, and the operational culture of warfighter and mission-support communities.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end technical strategy for a portfolio of the most complex North America Government federal accounts, translatingDoWand agency mission priorities into multi-year Citrix technology roadmaps that drive platform adoption, mission outcomes, and measurable growth.
Establish and sustain executive-level trusted advisor relationships and governance across customer and partner ecosystems (mission owners, program offices, acquisition, security, and operations), aligning stakeholders on architecture decisions, risk posture, and modernization sequencing.
Provide technical thought leadership that shapes customer modernization approaches and internal standards by connecting Citrix capabilities to federal mission drivers, policy constraints, and market trends:
Diagnose mission outcomes, current-state architecture, constraints, and risks across classified and unclassified environments; develop target-state architectures and decision frameworks (tradeoffs, sequencing, and operational impacts).
Codify and scale repeatable patterns (reference architectures, security baselines, playbooks, and customer-ready narratives) that increase the broader teams technical mindshare and execution consistency.
Represent Citrix as a senior technical spokesperson with customer executives, industry forums, and strategic partners, influencing technical direction andestablishingcredibility for the platform.
