Seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to assist an elderly woman in Monterey when her main caregivers call in sick. It's important she's never left alone so I'm willing to anyone who can even cover one shift. Please email me with a brief description of experience and your availability. I will most likely call you when needed to se if you're available once hired. You'll be helping an elderly woman with daily organization, administrative, and memory care needs, helping to improve her quality of life as a person with cognitive and physical disabilities. Transportation to appointments and possibly to run errands. A vehicle is an absolute must have with drivers license and insurance.
Shifts for on-call coverage- Mon-Fri
Dayshift 9am-3pm
Nightshift 3pm-9pm
On-call position available, with a possibility for more shifts and hours in the future
You will start as a probationary period while feeling out the situation to assure its a good fit
💪 Responsibilities:
Assistance with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
Support with organization, scheduling, and administrative tasks
Provide memory care and companionship
Light housekeeping, meal prep, and occasional transportation or accompaniment to appointments. Prescription maintenance and pickups.
🌟 Ideal Candidate:
Someone who is drug free
Punctual, dependable, patient, and compassionate
Background in dementia or memory care preferred
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Bonus if you have nursing experience, First Aid/CPR certification, or medical administrative experience
💰 Compensation & amp; Benefits:
Paid through IHSS and/or WPCS
Approximately $19+ per hour (based on county rate and experience)
Caregivers who qualify through IHSS may receive health insurance, vacation pay, sick pay, and overtime
