A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a blend of technical accounting responsibilities, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting, including:
Journal entries
Account reconciliations
Fixed assets and depreciation
Month-end close activities
Financial reporting
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support payroll processing activities, audits, and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
Analyze financial information, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
Assist with accounting projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
Partner with various departments to support operational and financial objectives.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of strong internal controls and accounting best practices.
BENEFITS OFFERED:
SALARY RANGE: $75,000-$85,000

Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Minimum of three years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated attention to detail, professionalism, and accountability.
Experience identifying process improvements and increasing operational efficiencies is highly desirable.
