Job description
We are looking for a competitive auto insurance agent to generate new business by contacting potential customers. This is a full-time position. You will sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of your assigned or prospective customers’ portfolio. You will be working on getting new business and assisitng our existing customers. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, ensure growth attainment and increase our company's reputation.
Responsibilities
Create productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc
Evaluate individual customers’ needs and propose auto insurance plans that meet their criteria
Maintain bookkeeping systems, database and records with our agency system Agency Matrix.
Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services
Fulfill all policy requirements
Help with customer service when applicable
Skills
Proven working experience as an Insurance agent that is currently licensed
Familiarity with selling Personal auto, homeowners and income tax knowledge is a plus but not required
Basic computer knowledge and mathematical skills
Being Bilingual and able to speak Spanish is a plus
Proven ability to work with goals
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence and sell effectively
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
High school or BS degree
Have a team player attitude
