Volt is immediately hiring for Weekend 2nd Shift Forklift Drivers / Cherry Pickers in Riverside, CA.
As a Weekend 2nd Shift Forklift Driver, you will:
Job Description
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
*Operates Raymond or Crown Cherry forklift / Order Picker in and around warehouse
*Pulls product from the warehouse for shipment to the stores and DC’s
*Moves product from Inbound Bins into the racks according product type and dimension
*Relocates product from end caps and service area into racks
*Efficiently pick customer orders
*Ensures inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areas
*Responsible for scanning merchandise prior to moving it to a different location
*Positions product on racking system
*Carry or transports orders to the dock with material handling equipment
*Able to operate radio frequency equipment
*Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards
*Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety
*Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
*Inspects the equipment
*Maintains a clean free from debris warehouse floor
*Meet company standards for productivity
This is a full time weekend opportunity. 5 days a week. 8 hours per day.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
*1-2 years of experience operating a Cherry Picker Forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
*Proven experience with order picking and inventory selection processes.
*Ability to safely operate a Cherry Picker and other material handling equipment.
*Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
*Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
*Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
*Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume warehouse setting.
*Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
*Previous experience working in a furniture warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
*Experience handling bulky, oversized, or high-value furniture products.
*Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.
*Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
*Experience operating additional material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or electric pallet jacks.

2nd Shift
Days: Friday - Tuesday (Wed & Thu OFF)
Hours: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
2nd Shift
Days: Thursday - Monday (Tue & Wed OFF)
Hours: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
