Job Description
Responsible for shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory accuracy records for items stored in warehouse. Work with Purchasing, Material handlers, QA Inspection, Master Scheduler and Sales Admin to insure compliance with all documentation and handling requirements.
Responsibilities:
" Filling, packaging and shipping customer orders
" Satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.)
" Ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation
" Coordination with all carriers for receiving & shipping
" Receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, insuring receiving transactions are accurate
" Assist in Kitting and other material handling tasks as needed
" Receiving finished goods & safely storing items with accurate inventory records
" Packaging assemblies for shipments, assisting in creating instructions where needed to insure repeatability of packaging and documentation requirements
" Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately completed in Oracle system and material is located appropriately and match transactions
" Assist in cycle counts and reconciliation activities
" Report material shortages, re-order points in warehouse and other issues that relates to the function
" Assist in maintaining and adjusting departmental work instructions for all tasks and following work instructions accurately
" Follow company policies and safety regulations
" Continuously improve warehouse and keep clean and organized
" Follow all safety & OSHA requirements, and company policies
