Department/Unit Summary
We have easy access with outpatient parking at the back of the hospital, and our own family lobby with updates frequently to our Patient Tracking system. For our dedicated physicians that may refer you to our facility, we have 4 Video Procedure rooms, along with 15 preparation/recovery bays in our new unit. For Specialty Procedures- (ERCP/ Navigational Bronchoscopy) we also have a dedicated Special Procedures room with large display monitors showing procedure as well as radiology images simultaneously.

What you will do
- Performs Radiology plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
- Documents patient care provided.
- Assist in patient care responsibilities during Radiology procedures alongside Radiologist and IR Technologist.
- Will preform when needed cardiac stress test and echo stress test.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patients and families; provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Provides direct patient care in the Radiology Department setting using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director of Imaging Services.
Essential Functions
- Performs Radiology plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
- Documents patient care provided.
- Assist in patient care responsibilities during Radiology procedures alongside Radiologist and IR Technologist.

- Evaluates learning needs of patients and families; provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provides quality patient care and works flexible schedules as needed.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
