Overview
A reputable HVAC company is seeking HVAC Installer/Technicians of varying experience levels to join their team. The ideal candidates will have experience installing heating and air conditioning systems and be committed to providing customers with high-quality workmanship and service.
Responsibilities and level of work will vary based on experience, qualifications, and skill level. The company is seeking candidates who are capable of working independently, completing jobs start to finish, and maintaining high quality and timely job performance. Experienced candidates may also have opportunities to supervise and train other installers/technicians.
Pay: $22/hr - $40/hr, depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Full-Time

Responsibilities
Install heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards
Complete installation projects safely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Follow layouts, plans, and instructions for ductwork and equipment installation.
Install and work with ductwork, air handlers, furnaces, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment.
Perform low-voltage wiring and basic electrical connections.
Run and work on jobs start to finish.
Operate a company vehicle as needed.
Track progress and complete required paperwork, job packets, change orders, and timecards.
Maintain professional relationship with customers, builders, subcontractors, and coworkers.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Follow all company safety procedures and job-staging guidelines
Report problems with company tools, equipment, or vehicles promptly.
Work a staggered schedule when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1 - 5+ years of HVAC experience is required
Ability to safely use hand and power tools and testing equipment.
Working knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and installation practices.
Ability to read and follow plans, layouts, and instructions.
Ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, subcontractors, homeowners, and other trades.
Must have a valid driver's license.
EPA Certification required.
Universal Refrigeration certification required for advanced levels.
NATE certification/testing experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently as experience and skill level allows.
Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience completing projects independently
Experience measuring, designing, sizing, drawing, fabricating, and installing ductwork.
Experience installing round and rectangular ductwork and equipment accessories.
Experience performing startup and troubleshooting of furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and condensing units.
Residential and light commercial installations experience.
Supervising and training others
Working with line and low-voltage wiring, relays, transformers. and wiring diagrams.
Experience installing garage heaters and mini-split systems.
