?This job is a member of the Operations Excellence Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
?Responsible for leading the team responsible for development and execution of process improvements utilizing Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. In addition, this job manages and oversees development of customer project requirements, business processes and key performance indicators that improve products and services.

Establishes a strategic direction for the organization and manage the methods to achieve it
Manages the budget established for the organization
Manages overall collaborative effort with operational leadership and represented work groups to develop and implement sustainable solutions
Leads the overall development and delivery of workshop/classroom training
Leads team responsible for coaching individuals on LSS principles to drive improvement
Manages multiple projects and provides status updates on performance against plan to meet delivery targets
Develops and maintains team group dynamics in support of the corporate culture vision
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
5 years engineering and/or technical operations experience
3 years of leadership experience
2 years of change management experience
Experience in delivering business values that resulted in cost reduction or avoidance
Experience in leading cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt certification
5 years of experience in LSS or continuous improvement within commercial aviation
Thorough understanding of AA Policies and Procedures
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Demonstrated ability to manage major projects on schedule
Demonstrated skills in employee development
Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Statistical analysis and computer background
Excellent analytical, communication, planning, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to handle changing priorities
