Customer Service Associate / Delivery Driver
Part-Time | Bilingual English/Spanish
Hydro Zen, a hydroponic retail store in Hemet, is seeking a dependable, bilingual Customer Service Associate / Delivery Driver. This position supports daily retail operations, assists English- and Spanish-speaking customers, processes commercial orders, coordinates deliveries, manages inventory, and provides backup delivery service using a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service in English and Spanish
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions
- Process and coordinate commercial orders and deliveries
- Receive, organize, and maintain inventory
- Load and unload merchandise
- Operate a pallet jack
- Make deliveries using a company box truck as needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient retail environment
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
- Valid California Class C driver’s license
- Ability to meet the company’s job-related driving standards
- Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to safely load and unload the company box truck
- Basic computer skills, including experience with point-of-sale software, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong customer-service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to learn quickly
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Occasional additional hours may be required based on business and delivery needs.
Compensation
$18.00–$20.00 per hour. Starting pay within this range will depend on relevant experience and qualifications.
Driving-Record Verification
Because driving is an essential function of this position, employment is contingent upon verification of an acceptable driving record following a conditional offer of employment.
