Salary Range: $142,136 - $151,209
Cascadia Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle to lead billing operations, reimbursement performance, revenue optimization, and revenue cycle initiatives across our growing healthcare organization.
This leadership role serves as the primary liaison between Cascadia and its external billing partner while providing oversight and support to internal revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate brings expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management, process improvement, compliance, analytics, and team leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead revenue cycle strategy and operational performance.
- Monitor key metrics including claims, denials, collections, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
- Partner with an outsourced billing vendor to ensure accountability, service quality, and performance results.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that maximize reimbursement and reduce denials.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Clinical, Compliance, and IT teams to support organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, FQHC, and CCBHC regulations.
- Develop, mentor, and support revenue cycle staff.
- Support audits, reporting initiatives, and continuous operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Five or more years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience.
- Experience working within an Epic environment.
- Experience with FQHC and/or CCBHC billing and reimbursement models.
- Strong understanding of claims management, reimbursement processes, payer regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and improving operational performance.
