YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR Engineering Technician - Survey:
In this full-time entry-level Survey Engineering Technician role, you will
. Assist with field surveys, construction stakeout, inspections, and data collection.
. Use survey instruments and related tools to gather accurate field information.
. Support municipal, utility and site survey projects.
. Assist engineering staff with project documents, reports, and technical data as needed.
A qualified candidate will have strong math skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work comfortably outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. This role also requires the physical ability to stand, walk, and perform moderate lifting during field assignments, along with a willingness to learn and work closely with engineering and survey teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
. Post-secondary trade or technical school training; relevant experience may be considered.
. Previous survey, construction stakeout, or field inspection experience.
. Experience with survey instruments, as-built surveys, or utility stake out surveys
. Familiarity with engineering or survey software.
