Job Description
This Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable event-driven microservices and APIs using .NET Core, C#, Azure, and React. The role requires building full-stack solutions, developing API-first integrations, and collaborating with architects and technical leaders to deliver high-quality, consumer-focused applications. The engineer will break down complex business requirements into manageable development tasks while producing secure, maintainable code supported by strong unit and integration testing. Responsibilities also include conducting code reviews, troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications, and ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can mentor junior developers, maintain technical documentation, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This role will pay $60-80/hr and must work in EST hours.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in full-stack software development with C#/.NET Core and React.
Expert knowledge of RESTful APIs, and event-driven design patterns.
Hands-on experience with Kafka (or equivalent event streaming platforms).
Strong background in Azure services including API Management (APIM), Key Vault, and cloud-native deployments.
Proficiency with Kubernetes and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure automation.
Experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps deployment tools.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
Exposure to Blazor is a plus.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
Preferred experience in orchestrations and transformations across distributed backend systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
