UNARMED SECURITY PATROL OFFICER – RIVERSIDE AREA
Southwest Patrol is seeking an experienced Unarmed Security Officer to provide patrol services for a large residential HOA community in the Riverside area.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, comfortable working outdoors, and capable of working independently while maintaining a visible security presence throughout the community.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Security Officer will patrol the property using a Southwest Patrol marked security vehicle and will be responsible for:
Conducting regular vehicle and foot patrols throughout the community
Responding promptly to calls for service
Conducting routine checks of pool and common areas
Locking and unlocking designated gates and access points
Scanning assigned security checkpoints
Identifying and reporting suspicious activity, safety concerns, and property issues
Documenting patrol activity and incidents through a smartphone-based reporting application
Maintaining a professional, visible, and vigilant security presence throughout the shift
Applicants must be comfortable walking and working outdoors and must be able to properly operate a smartphone to complete required reports and checkpoint activity.
AVAILABLE SHIFT
Friday – Monday
1:45 PM – 10:15 PM
Applicants must be available for the entire schedule listed above and be prepared to start ASAP.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid California BSIS Guard Card in good standing
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Must be able to communicate in Spanish
No visible tattoos while in uniform
No facial or head piercings while on duty
Must maintain a professional appearance
Must be comfortable walking and working outdoors
Must be able to use a smartphone for reporting and checkpoint documentation
Applicants who already possess a duty belt and appropriate security equipment are highly desirable
All required permits and certifications must be current and in good standing in accordance with BSIS requirements.
COMPENSATION
$17.00 – $18.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
