A24 is hiring a Workplace Experience Intern for their Los Angeles office, starting September 2026. This part-time, in-office role sits within the Workplace Experience team and keeps the day-to-day operations of one of the most talked-about entertainment companies in the business running smoothly. It suits someone early in their career who is drawn to office management, HR, or people operations and wants to learn the infrastructure side of a major film and television studio from the inside.
About the Role
The Workplace Experience team at A24 handles the operational backbone of the Los Angeles office, from front-of-house reception to event support and internal logistics. As a Workplace Experience Intern, you will be on-site three days per week, up to 15 hours total, interfacing with staff and external guests across departments that touch both film and television production. A typical day might move from managing the front desk and office phones to restocking the merch room, coordinating a shipment, or supporting an in-office event.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all reception duties, including greeting external guests, answering office phones, routing direct messages to staff, and monitoring the general office email inbox.
- Maintain and restock office spaces including the mail room, merch room, kitchenette, and library to keep them functional throughout the workday.
- Assist in the planning and execution of in-office events that bring together staff across A24's film and television divisions.
- Package and send outgoing shipments, coordinating with the appropriate internal contacts to ensure accuracy and timing.
- Handle mail distribution across the office, sorting and delivering incoming correspondence to the correct departments or individuals.
- Run errands and take on ad hoc projects as directed, staying flexible and responsive to the shifting needs of the team.
What You Bring
- Availability to work in-office three days per week for up to 15 hours, starting September 2026.
- Prior front desk, reception, or customer-facing experience in any setting, whether a film production office, entertainment studio, or general workplace.
- Genuine interest in office management, HR, or people operations within the entertainment industry.
- A personable, resourceful approach and the ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks across a busy office environment.
- Work authorization in the United States, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
Why This Role
A24 has built a library of over 150 films and 50 TV series, earning more than 21 Oscars, with titles ranging from Moonlight to Everything Everywhere All at Once and episodic television like Euphoria and Beef. Getting inside that operation, even in a support role, means exposure to how a major independent entertainment studio actually functions across film production, television development, and beyond. This internship pays $18.00 per hour and is a legitimate entry point into the entertainment industry workplace for someone who wants to understand the business from the ground up.
