Job Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Handyman performs essential repairs and routine preventive maintenance across our facility. Your primary goal is to ensure smooth building operations, This role focuses on hands-on facility upkeep
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled checks on building systems, change commercial HVAC filters, inspect exterior perimeters, and clear trash or debris from surrounding lot areas.
• Minor Repairs: Patch drywall, touch up paint, repair industrial doors/locks, and handle basic carpentry or facility hardware adjustments.
• Light Plumbing & Electrical: Unclog drains, repair leaky fixtures, and replace light bulbs, ballast, or broken switches.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain clean pathways, clear out abandoned pallets, manage spillage containment areas, and ensure emergency exits remain unobstructed.
• Task Documentation: Complete daily maintenance logs and accurately track completed tasks on bi-weekly timesheets.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with standard hand tools, power tools, and basic facility diagnostic equipment.
• Physical Ability: Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors when required.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a preventive maintenance checklist independently.
