# CNC Programmer / CNC Department Lead
**Trade Show & Exhibit Fabrication House**
We are a fast\-paced **trade show and exhibit fabrication house** looking for an experienced **CNC Programmer / CNC Department Lead** to join our production team\.
### Responsibilities
- Program and operate CNC routers
- Create **toolpaths, nesting, and G\-code**
- Read and work from **AutoCAD drawings and production files**
- Optimize material usage and CNC production
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues
- Coordinate and manage CNC operators
- Keep multiple projects moving and meet tight production deadlines
- Work closely with Engineering, Carpentry, and Production
### Software / Experience
Must be proficient or highly experienced with:
- **EnRoute**
- **VCarve Pro**
- **AutoCAD**
- **CAM / CNC programming software**
- CNC routing, nesting, tooling, and machining
**Trade show, exhibit, millwork, cabinet, or custom fabrication experience is highly preferred\.**
### What We’re Looking For
We need someone who can **take ownership of the CNC department**, work independently, manage operators, and pivot quickly as production priorities change\.
Must be:
- Reliable and self\-motivated
- Detail\-oriented
- Strong team player
- Able to work in a fast\-paced production environment
- Comfortable managing and directing CNC operators
- Available for **overtime, long hours, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed**
