Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. Demonstrates a professional, friendly, warm and welcoming demeanor to all guests and employees.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Help to keep the exterior, public areas and lobby clean, neat and free of debris and trash.
2. Collects dirty linen from guestrooms and housekeeping carts and deliver to laundry.
3. Stock housekeeping carts with linens and supplies.
4. Remove dirty linen and trash from guestrooms and assist room attendants.
5. Remove trash collected by room attendants.
6. Sweep, mop, and remove trash throughout property.
7. Deliver clean linen to the housekeeping storage room.
8. Helps the room attendants with special cleaning projects as directed.
9. Remove dirty towels and trash from the pool area and deliver to the laundry room.
10. Assist the front desk by delivering any requested items to guest rooms when requested by any guest.
11. Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine.
12. Responds at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
