The IT Engineer will help to oversee and direct all aspects of EIT Zollner’s Information Technology and Information Systems (IT/IS). Develop systems and applications for internal and customer use.
Essential Functions
- Oversee, administer and maintain all critical company computers, servers, ERP, communication (VOIP, POTS, Fax, Email, Video, etc.), network and other information systems.
- Data and network integrity, backup and security including knowledge of CMMC while working with the companies MSP.
- Systems implementation and planning.
- Evaluate, research and approve or disapprove Hardware/Software requirements and requests for capital planning.
- Support IT Techs by Troubleshooting and resolving user and other issues, problems and challenges with related Information Technology and Information Systems.
- Server hardware selection and implementation knowledge including related Windows and Linux software.
- Basic programming knowledge.
Education Requirements
Minimum Two Year College degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer or Electrical Engineering.
Experience Requirements
Minimum five years’ experience in IT/IS.
