Job Overview
Aqua Sierra Controls, Inc. is looking for a candidate who can execute effective management of our panel shop team. This position will hold a wild variety of responsibilities in day-to-day manufacturing and assembly of engineered control panels, built to spec to meet/exceed the end user’s requirements. Control Panel builders work with high and low voltage electricity and electrical wiring components daily, so it is imperative that this candidate has experience with electrical wiring, preferably in a panel shop, but not mandatory. UL 508A Panel is the standard we follow.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production schedules closely to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Oversee all projects within the shop while actively participating in assistance with the assembly / install of industrial motor control panels
- Ensuring teams' compliance with company policies such as lunch breaks, safety PPE during appropriate tasks, and housekeeping of the shop
- Coordinate daily/weekly meetings to discuss overall productivity, time management, upcoming projects, etc. with the team
- Maintain accurate and precise logs of shop inventory while monitoring and submitting for purchase as needed
- Aid in teaching and training new shop employees
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to optimize manufacturing workflows and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to recognize and understand electrical symbols
- Must have the ability to use hand tools, power tools and other related electrical equipment
- Ability to work quickly, while always utilizing safe work practices
- Ability to stand, stoop and/or kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to identify and correct malfunctioning installation and/or components using test equipment and hand tools
Desired Experience:
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electrical or industrial panel fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing management systems such as SAP, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and production scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through cross-functional communication and team leadership skills.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles including logistics, procurement, and supply chain analytics.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
