Robert Half Technology is partnering with a well-established organization to identify a Senior Director of Information Technology who will lead the company's technology strategy, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall IT strategy and technology roadmap across corporate offices and operational locations.
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure, networking, servers, cloud platforms, telecommunications, end-user computing, and business-critical systems.
- Lead and develop the internal IT team while establishing clear priorities, accountability, and service standards.
- Partner directly with executive leadership and operational leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology.
- Own cybersecurity strategy, including endpoint security, identity and access management, network security, backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, and security awareness.
- Manage relationships with MSPs, software providers, telecommunications companies, hardware vendors, and other third-party technology partners.
- Lead major infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, integrations, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Develop and manage the annual IT operating and capital budgets.
- Establish IT policies, procedures, documentation, standards, and governance.
- Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities to consolidate, modernize, automate, or replace technology.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities for mission-critical operations.
- Develop technology KPIs and communicate IT performance, risks, projects, and investments to executive leadership.
- Provide leadership during critical outages or technology incidents affecting transportation and business operations.
- Ensure IT can effectively support employees and operational teams across multiple locations and shifts.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive Information Technology experience.
- 5+ years of IT leadership or management experience.
- Previous experience as an IT Director, Senior IT Manager, Director of Infrastructure, Director of Technology, or similar technology leader.
- Strong experience supporting multi-site organizations.
- Strong infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems background.
- Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, contracts, projects, and technology roadmaps.
- Demonstrated ability to lead both strategic initiatives and hands-on operational IT.
- Experience building, mentoring, and managing technical teams.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, operations leaders, technical employees, and third-party vendors.

Work Arrangement: Onsite / Corporate Headquarters
Compensation: 200,000–$250,000 Base Salary
