Metal Grinder

Job Summary
The Metal Grinder is responsible for grinding, deburring, finishing, and preparing metal components according to company specifications. This position requires the safe and proper operation of hand and power tools while maintaining quality and production standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Grind, deburr, smooth, and finish metal parts using hand grinders, bench grinders, and other power tools.
* Remove excess metal, sharp edges, weld spatter, and imperfections from manufactured parts.
* Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements.
* Read and follow work orders, blueprints, drawings, and production instructions.
* Operate grinders, sanders, buffers, and other assigned equipment safely.
* Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and measuring tapes as required.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
* Identify damaged or defective materials and report issues to the supervisor.
* Assist with material handling and other production duties as needed.
* Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
Shipping & Receiving Associate – Manufacturing
Job Title:** Shipping & Receiving Associate
Job Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are accurately processed and moved throughout the manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming materials and products.
* Compare shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documents.
* Prepare products and materials for shipment according to customer and company requirements.
* Pick, pack, label, stage, and load outgoing shipments.
* Verify quantities, part numbers, and shipping information for accuracy.
* Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
* Operate a forklift when certified and authorized.
* Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
* Enter shipment and inventory information into company systems.
* Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for visible damage and report discrepancies.
* Properly identify and store materials in designated locations.
* Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and shipping area.
* Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
* Communicate with production, purchasing, and management regarding material needs and shipment status.
* Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
* Perform other warehouse and manufacturing duties as assigned.
