Our small online retail business needs a warehouse associate (Picker/packer)
If you would enjoy working in small, quiet warehouse, this job may be for you. We need a self starter who can work alone and unsupervised when necessary. The warehouse is a clean zone which means no perfumes, colognes or smoke odors are allowed.
This is a part-time position from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
Tasks include: packing orders for shipping, light assembly, shipping, inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse and a small restroom.
This job requires: a sharp eye for detail, good memory, ability to work at a good pace, and follow directions easily. Must have basic computer skills, and clear communication skills. Punctuality, good attendance and a positive attitude is required.
Previous experience is helpful but not required. Willing to train the right person.
Our warehouse has no machinery or forklifts.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Picker/packer
Shipping and receiving
Inventory
Light Assembly
Breaking down boxes
Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse and restroom
Trash disposal, and other duties as needed
Requirements:
Detail oriented and highly accurate when filling orders
Must be self-motivated
Must be punctual and have a helpful and good attitude
Able to stand for 5 hours
Able to lift 40 lbs (occasionally)
Ability to work alone and unsupervised
Ability to follow directions and work quickly to complete tasks
Must have high school diploma or GED
