The Gold Creek Salmon Bake is a seasonal buffet restaurant located in Juneau, AK. We are looking for personable front of house team members to finish out the rest of our season, which will be ending in mid-October. We would like to bring on a new employee as soon as possible.
This is a truly unique dining experience. We are surrounded by rain forest, located right next to a creek, and a waterfall is a short walk nearby.
As a buffet style restaurant, a front of house team member plays an important role in the setting up, maintenance, and closing down of various stations throughout the property. There are also a number of other tasks and projects that take place throughout the normal day, so this is a good fit if you are someone who likes wear many hats.
Please keep in mind that our dining areas are outdoors, so you must be willing to work on an uneven rocky ground, get used to some rain and colder weather, and not be bothered by the squirrels and crows that often visit.
We start at $16/hr plus tips. Until mid-September, we should have 40-60 work weeks, then that will slow down to 20-30 hours. We provide housing (rent is $16/day) and you will also be eligible up to a 10% bonus if you complete your contract.
