Our client is a small, established FMCG company in the Princeton area, operating a distributor-led business in ethnic food and personal care products. They are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to run the finance function for the US operation, working with an offshore accounting support team.
This is a true end-to-end finance role, you will be the finance person on the ground, handling everything from daily transactions to reporting.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day finance: billing, AR, AP, and cash application
- Run month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Handle tax compliance, including sales/use tax filings
- Monitor cash flow and banking
- Coordinate with the offshore accounting support team
- Support the business head with reporting and margin analysis
- Manage distributor and vendor reconciliations and collections
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of full-cycle finance and accounting experience — GL, AR/AP, tax, close, and reporting
- FMCG, food, or consumer products background preferred; distribution/wholesale experience highly relevant
- Small-company experience, comfortable being hands-on without big support structures
- CPA, EA, CA, or MBA a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (US citizens or green card holders)
