Graphic Designer (Junior/Senior, Print/Web, Package Design / Full-time),

KGC US, Inc. (Jung Kwan Jang), the world's No. 1 Korean Red Ginseng brand with a 127-year heritage, is looking for a graphic designer specialized in print branding materials, including new product packaging and label design. This candidate will create, maintain, and direct graphic-related work for the company. Design work will include corporate branding, collateral for company initiatives, print advertising, trade show exhibits, catalogs, flyers, new product label design, and other promotional and presentation materials. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded, semi-managerial graphic designer/art director who can lead, coach, and strengthen our brand team and partner agencies.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage design work for packaging design, artwork, sell sheets, merchandise, and brochures
- Support copywriting and ad development
- Design in-store merchandising displays
- Manage outside design partners
- Manage expo/trade show booth design projects with outside agencies
- Manage print production, from concept through final delivery
- Develop rendered images and presentation decks
- Design brand website banners, product detail pages, and social media content; shoot and edit owned media film
- Collaborate with product managers, the e-commerce team, and the sales team.
- Research design trends and report findings to the director
- Report directly to the director
Required Skills/Characteristics
- Experience in packaging artwork and web content development
- Experience at a design firm or as a freelancer is a plus
- 2–8 years of experience as a graphic designer preferred
- Experience with new product label design and web design preferred
- Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
- Experience with Asian (corporate) culture preferred
- Self-motivated with an enthusiastic attitude
- Valid driver's license
- Available to travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,549.08 - $70,000.00 per year
