JOB SUMMARY:
This position will lead a team of Supervision Coaches that serve the mission of DCS by assisting in building workforce members' proficiency in clinical supervision, administrative supervision, the DCS safety practice model, and family and youth engagement practice
JOB DUTIES:
- Provides direction, supervision, and consultation to Supervision Coaches; ensures Supervision Coaches demonstrate fidelity to practice models, fosters skill building, and professional growth and development of team members; partners with internal practice experts to support growth and learning of Supervision Coaches.
- Delivers training to Supervision Coaches and agency leaders; organizes, leads, and participates in meetings, committees and work groups with Supervision Coaches, internal and external stakeholders; performs public speaking.
- Tracks and monitors data related to direct reports; utilizes data to problem solve with direct reports; identifies trends, strengths, and irregularities and shares findings with Program Manager; communicates needed actions to address opportunities for improvement with Program Manager.
- Builds and maintains relationships with regional leaders to understand the strengths and opportunities of the Supervision Coach service delivery within local offices.
- Travels within region, county and state as needed to fulfill job functions.
- Performs other related duties as required

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university AND
- Three (3) Years as a DCS Program Supervisor OR
- One (1) Year as a DCS Program Supervisor (Coach)
• Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must be able to secure and maintain clearance from the CPS Central Registry.
• Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, and the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).
ASRS participation may begin immediately (if you were a previous member) or upon your 27th week of employment (if you have never been an ASRS member previously).
