Role: Regulatory Affairs Program Coordinator (RN) supporting accreditation and compliance activities within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in readiness activities, mock surveys, and process tracers by developing, collecting, analyzing, and reporting findings.
- Interpret regulations from CMS, The Joint Commission, and other governing bodies related to hospital, laboratory, and ambulatory care standards.
- Develop and deliver education on healthcare licensure, accreditation, and compliance trends.
- Collaborate with leaders and staff to identify risks, develop corrective action plans, and track improvements.
- Conduct tracers and audits, support documentation, and assist clinicians in improving processes and compliance.
- Support survey preparations, on-site activities, and post-survey follow-up.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- RN license (compact or single state).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting (5 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data management.
- CPHQ certification preferred.
