Position Title: Film Society Producer

This role serves the Film Society brand for Pointer Studios. The Film Producer is responsible for the management of Film Society content, finding student-written work to produce, filling positions for unpaid on-screen/behind the scenes talent, and the screening and archival of the above mentioned content. The appointment includes the requirement to complete 10 hours of office hours a week.
You will manage all content under the Film Society branch and seek out student-written projects to produce. The position involves filling positions for all on-screen and behind-the-scenes work and managing both students and community members for film-related projects. You will host and plan events, including film screenings and the 48 Hour Film Festival.
A few of the typical activities and expectations are:
