AwnGuard is a locally owned company that specializes in maintaining commercial properties through professional exterior cleaning services. We clean awnings, windows, solar panels and pressure washing for building exteriors at shopping centers and commercial properties throughout Southern California. Our work helps maintain clean, welcoming spaces used by the public. We are looking for dependable team members who take pride in doing quality work and leaving properties looking noticeably better than when they arrived.
Most work is performed after business hours (approximately 9 PM – 6 AM) so that commercial properties remain accessible during the day.
Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Clean commercial awnings using specialized cleaning tools and methods
• Perform professional window washing on 1–2 story buildings
• Pressure wash sidewalks, building surfaces, and exterior areas
• Clean commercial solar panel systems on parking structures and rooftops
• Set up and operate professional cleaning equipment
• Keep tools, equipment, and work vehicles organized
• Work safely while protecting surrounding property and landscaping
• Work as part of a small crew to complete jobs efficiently
Skills/Abilities:
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record with ability to drive company vehicle (required)
• Experience towing single axle trailer with basic knowledge of towing rules-of-the-road
• Ability to lift 65 lbs overhead and perform physical outdoor work
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Reliable and dependable work habits inlcuding punctuality, and showing up ready to work
Required Experience - at least 6 months commerical cleaning experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Window washing
• Pressure washing
• Soft washing
• Solar panel cleaning
Other Preferred Experience:
• Water reclamation management
• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
• Operating lift equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts
• Roof fall-protection training for residential roofs
• Experience as a team lead or in running work crews
