Role Description The Vice President Information Technology is a full-time, on-site role based in the Toledo, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This role leads the overall IT vision, strategy, and operations for S&G Stores, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support business growth and store performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing IT infrastructure, applications, security, and data management; directing IT projects and initiatives; and collaborating with executive leadership to align technology investments with organizational goals. The position manages IT staff and vendors, sets performance standards, and ensures reliable, secure systems across all store locations. The Vice President Information Technology will also monitor emerging technologies, recommend improvements, and drive continuous innovation to support expansion and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Information Technology, including systems, networks, and enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated experience in IT Management, including team leadership, vendor oversight, and budget management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and growth plans.
- Solid Project Management skills to lead complex, multi-site implementations and technology upgrades.
- Expertise in Strategic Planning to guide long-term technology roadmap and support business expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
- Experience in retail, convenience stores, fuel operations, or multi-location environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data protection, and compliance relevant to retail operations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site in the Toledo, Ohio Metropolitan Area and travel to store locations as needed.
- PDI experience is a must
