Work Hours
- Standard start time: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM
- Potential schedule adjustment during the final week of August (beginning August 25) with 3:30 PM start times due to campus/class schedules.
Note: Technicians should be prepared to work at multiple project locations throughout the Spokane area. Each week will most likely be at a different site.
Overview
We are seeking experienced Lead AV Technicians (2+ openings) and Mid-Level AV Technicians (2+ openings) for several technology integration (TI) projects throughout Spokane, WA. These projects involve the installation and deployment of advanced audiovisual systems, including AV over IP, projection systems, and video walls.
This opportunity is ideal for AV professionals who are comfortable working in dynamic environments and transitioning between multiple project sites as installations progress.
Open Positions
Lead AV Technicians (2+ Needed)
Responsibilities
- Lead installation teams and coordinate daily field activities.
- Read and interpret project drawings, schematics, and scope documents.
- Oversee AV system installations and maintain quality standards.
- Manage rack builds, cable infrastructure, equipment installation, and system integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and onsite trades.
- Mentor junior and mid-level technicians.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial AV installation experience.
- Strong experience with AV over IP, video walls, and projection systems.
- Proven leadership experience on commercial AV projects.
- Ability to read blueprints and signal-flow diagrams.
- CTS, CTS-I, OSHA certifications preferred.
Mid-Level AV Technicians (2+ Needed)
Responsibilities
- Install AV equipment, displays, mounts, and cabling.
- Assist with video wall and projection system installations.
- Pull, terminate, label, and test structured cabling.
- Support system testing and commissioning activities.
- Follow project documentation and installation standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial AV installation experience.
- Familiarity with AV over IP technologies and structured cabling practices.
- Experience mounting displays and installing commercial AV hardware.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between local Spokane project sites.
