Jr. Art Director (Hybrid | New York, NY)
FanUp is looking for a Jr. Art Director to help shape the future of sports and entertainment fandom.
At FanUp, we're building the next generation of fantasy sports and pop culture for Gen Z, casual fans, and women. Our creative team develops integrated advertising campaigns across social, digital, paid media, and experiential activations that capture attention and engage fans. We also collaborate with leading brands, athletes, creators, and entertainment partners to bring these ideas to life. We're looking for a Jr. Art Director with an advertising mindset who's passionate about concepts, big ideas, strong visual storytelling, and creating campaign work that fans can't scroll past.
As our Jr. Art Director, you'll collaborate with creative leadership, partnerships, social teams, and events teams to develop bold campaign concepts and create standout creative across paid media, social, activations, partnerships, and brand marketing.
What You'll Do
- Develop creative concepts for integrated advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Design digital assets for paid social, organic social, email, display advertising, and partnerships.
- Translate creative briefs into compelling visual executions.
- Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, designers, and leadership throughout the creative process.
- Maintain and evolve FanUp's visual identity across all marketing touchpoints.
- Prepare production-ready files and ensure quality across deliverables.
- Stay current on design trends, social media, sports culture, and Gen Z aesthetics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong AD portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and digital-first campaign work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
- Excellent typography, layout, and branding skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for sports, entertainment, and social media.
