Position Summary
• Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, documenting, and
implementing software applications or modifications to existing software while
establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with co-workers,
customers and vendors.

Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: 5 years of progressive hospital pharmacy experience and
clinical pharmacist experience within a hospital similar in scope to SIH required.

Role Specific Responsibilities
o Provides application software development services or technical support
typically in a defined project.
o Develops program logic for new application or analyzes and modifies
logic in existing applications.
o Analyzes requirements, maintains, tests, and integrates application
components.
o Demonstrates ability to organize and lead meetings effectively.
o Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
o Contributes to process improvement.
o Provides advanced level support to customers and coworkers for
problems and issues reported through the IT Service Management
system (ITSM).
o Liaise with customers, other IT staff and vendors for design, planning,
implementation and problem resolution using effective communication
and appropriate follow-up
o Documents and maintains accurate records of work performed within the
ITSM system.
o Maintains knowledge of the latest developments in information
technology, especially as pertains to healthcare.
o Provides availability for "on-call" emergency solution support and other
after-hours support duties as assigned by ITS Management.
o Sets and maintains goals, timelines and commitments, demonstrating
proven attention to detail and high level of organization and accuracy.
o Oversees major IT solutions, while seeking assistance for secondary
support when appropriate.
o Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory
issues.
o Recommends process, product or service improvements.
o Provides innovative solutions to complex issues.
o Leads and executes projects.
o Leads functional teams and coordinates work to effectively accomplish
project goals.
