Responsibilities:
- Able to drive to pick up and drop off school aged children to school
- Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and activities
- Assist with diaper changes, feeding, and naptime routines
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Cooks light meals and provides snack
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
Requirements:
- Background check - we will discuss the process of this in person.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred - must eventually get certified (within first two weeks)
- Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Certificate - we will discuss the process of this in person.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a structured environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
