OVERVIEW:
The
Sr. Advisor, Pharmacist supports
clinical strategy for new sales opportunities and
product development by providing clinical direction and pharmacy expertise to inform consultative sales efforts, solution strategies, and product concepts. This role partners closely with Clinical Strategy, Product Strategy, Strategic Insights, and New Sales Teams to ensure solutions are
clinically credible, market-differentiated, and aligned to client and prospect needs.
The Sr. Advisor serves as a trusted clinical thought partner to prospect engagements, early-stage solution exploration, and product concept development-helping translate condition dynamics, comorbidities, drug considerations, and pharmacy trends, into
clear, actionable guidance thatsupports finalist opportunities, RFP responses, and product development. This is a highly collaborative role that focuses on
clinical direction, consultation, analysis, and presentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clinical Strategy Support for New Sales: Provide clinical expertise to support new sales and prospect engagements. Support finalist meetings, prospect discussions, and consultant engagements by articulating the clinical value proposition of pharmacy solutions.
- Product Development & Solution Enablement: Contribute clinical insights to early-stage product and solution development, ensuring concepts are grounded in clinical reality and aligned with pharmacy practice.
- Clinical Insight Development & Translation: Analyze pharmacy trends, therapeutic areas, formulary strategies, and emerging clinical topics (e.g., specialty, biosimilars, GLP-1s). Create clear, client-friendly narratives that support consultative selling and strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Consultation Serve as a clinical thought partner. Support clinical input into RFPs, proposals, and solution reviews as needed, ensuring consistency and clinical integrity.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
- Active pharmacist license in any US State.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the healthcare industry or PBS (e.g. clinical strategy, consultant relations, product development).
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills, with the ability to confidently articulate ideas, influence stakeholders, and engage diverse audiences.
- Demonstrates initiative, a proactive mindset, and results-driven approach to achieving objectives.
- Experience creating external-facing materials to support strategic conversations and decisions by translating business problems into structured finalist narratives.
- Strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 123,400 - 205,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
