🎯 ABOUT THE ROLE
We specialize in residential exterior painting.
This is not a painting labor position.
We already have painting crews ready to do the work. What we need is someone who understands exterior painting and can visit homes, inspect the condition, take photos, complete our form, and submit clear findings to the office.
This is a good fit for a retired painter, former foreman, painting estimator, crew lead, or experienced painter who wants flexible part-time work without doing the labor.
You do NOT need a C-33 contractor license for the inspection/report role.

✓ Complete the 21-point inspection form we provide.

If you can sell and close painting jobs professionally, there is room to earn more. If you do not want to sell, that is okay. You can simply inspect the home and send the report to the office.
The office can prepare and send the proposal.

✓ Speak professionally with homeowners
✓ Explain basic findings in a simple, honest way
✓ Submit photos, notes, and findings through a simple online form
✓ Submit the report the same day
✓ If qualified and comfortable, provide a quote and close the job on-site

💰 COMPENSATION
✓ $50 per completed inspection/report
✓ Most inspections take about 30–60 minutes
✓ $25 if you arrive and the homeowner no-shows or access is not available
✓ Same-day report bonuses may be available for complete, clean reports
✓ Route gas bonus available when multiple appointments are scheduled in the same area
✓ 1% bonus if the office closes a job from your inspection/report
✓ 3% commission if you are able to quote and close the job on-site

On an $8,500 exterior painting job:
→ 1% office-close bonus = $85
→ 3% self-close commission = $255
That means you can earn paid inspection money upfront, plus additional upside if the job sells.

This is appointment-based work. You send us your availability, and we schedule inspections around the times you are available.

⏱ HOW LONG EACH INSPECTION TAKES
A normal 21-point exterior paint inspection usually takes about 45–60 minutes.
Typical inspection breakdown:
→ Homeowner greeting/setup: about 5 minutes
→ Walk the exterior: about 15–25 minutes
→ Take photos: about 10–15 minutes
→ Notes and grading: about 10–15 minutes
→ Homeowner recap: about 5–10 minutes
→ Form submission: about 5–10 minutes
An easy single-story home may take 30–40 minutes.
A two-story home, coastal home, trim-heavy home, or talkative homeowner may take 60–75 minutes.

⚠️ IMPORTANT
At first, the main role is inspection and reporting.
If you only want to inspect homes and submit reports, that is fine.
If you can professionally quote and close painting jobs, there is room to earn 3% commission on jobs you close.
We are looking for someone who knows painting, knows what to look for, can communicate clearly with homeowners, and can submit clean same-day reports.
