IT Specialist
Location: Austin, TX | Onsite 5 days/week
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000
Bonus: Potential bonus based on firm and employee performance, not guaranteed

About the Role
Our client is seeking an IT Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for its Austin office. This role supports workstation deployment, escalated end-user issues, conference room technology, network devices, and enterprise applications.
What You’ll Do
• Manage workstation deployments and hands-on technical requests in the local office
• Provide first- and second-level escalated support by phone, email, remote tools, and in person
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, Microsoft Office, application access, network connectivity, and enterprise applications
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot network devices and applications with support from other IT teams
• Assist with new application and system implementations
• Support conference room technology, video conferencing, and device setup
• Serve as a second-level escalation point for support tickets
• Deliver training for new hires, summer associates, and employees as directed
• Partner with application and software development teams on common support issues and training needs
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation, approximately 1 week every 13 weeks
• Support occasional after-hours work as needed
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of Windows desktop and Microsoft Office support experience
• Experience with Windows 10/11 implementation, management, and troubleshooting
• Strong end-user support skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
• Ability to resolve application access, delivery, connectivity, and desktop support issues
• Understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and connectivity troubleshooting
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Professional communication skills with partners, attorneys, clients, and staff
• Ability to work onsite in Austin 5 days/week
• Ability to participate in the after-hours on-call rotation
Preferred Skills
• Law firm or professional services experience
• A+, Network+, or Windows 10/11 certifications
• Citrix, VPN, Adobe, and Palo Alto experience
