Vaco by Highspring is a $60B Wealth/Investment Manager seeking a Manager for Finance Data & Analytics. This role involves a blend of technology and FP&A responsibilities, focusing on building scalable dashboards and delivering analytics and insights into the business.
Responsibilities
- Manage finance data requirements and prioritize use cases to support corporate FP&A analytics and strategic reporting
- Convert complex financial and business inquiries into structured data requirements, logic models, system attributes, and delivery specifications
- Partner closely with enterprise IT and Data Management teams on core data warehouse architecture and financial data repository initiatives
- Serve as the primary Finance stakeholder for the testing, validation, and sign-off of all financial analytics and reporting outputs
- Assist in defining, documenting, and governing key financial and operational metrics, including revenue drivers, net growth, and core performance indicators
- Establish and maintain robust financial data standards, master business rules, and metadata requirements
- Drive data quality, cross-system reconciliation, and data consistency across all financial reporting platforms
- Deliver advanced analytics and strategic insights regarding core business drivers, growth trends, and financial performance
- Support segment-, channel-, and enterprise-level analysis to uncover portfolio trends, growth catalysts, and performance implications
- Assist in building automated, recurring reporting structures that support corporate management reporting, strategic finance, and executive decision-making
- Define business intelligence (BI) dashboard requirements and foster self-service reporting capabilities across business units
- Spearhead the transition of finance analytics from manual data extracts and ad-hoc workarounds into repeatable, automated data pipelines
- Support the deployment and scaling of recurring financial analytics and management reporting packages
- Identify ongoing opportunities to optimize reporting processes, improve analytical scalability, and enhance data usability for leadership and external stakeholders
Skills
- Must have SQL experience
- Must have BI Tools experience
