Set within the historic El Cid neighborhood, BIBA blends thoughtfully designed tropical surroundings with an elevated, creative, and connected member experience.
As we prepare for our Late Fall 2026 opening, we are building a leadership team to shape BIBA’s identity, set its tone, and lay the foundation for a legacy of excellence.
About the Role
The Food & Beverage Manager oversees all F&B operations across BIBA’s two restaurants, three social spaces, multiple satellite bars, and the club’s production and catering kitchens. This leader is responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences through operational precision, culinary consistency, and a forward‑thinking approach to service, training, and programming.
This role drives the development, scaling, and refinement of the club’s food and beverage program, including OSE management, departmental training systems, leadership development pathways, and both in‑house and offsite catering operations to ensure long‑term stability, succession readiness, and brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Multi‑Venue Operations
- Lead operations across two restaurants, three social spaces, and multiple satellite bars with consistent service standards and brand alignment.
- Maintain a strong daily presence across all venues to ensure seamless service, member satisfaction, and operational flow.
Satellite Production & Catering Kitchen
- Oversee satellite production kitchens, including workflow, quality control, inventory systems, and cross‑venue support.
- Direct all culinary and service logistics for in‑house and off-site catering, private events, and member activations.
Food & Beverage Program Development
- Develop and scale the F&B program including menu evolution, seasonal programming, beverage strategy, and member‑driven experiences.
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef and Beverage Director to maintain quality, consistency, and innovation.
OS&E & Financial Management
- Manage OS&E forecasting, procurement, par levels, and cost control across all outlets and production spaces.
- Oversee departmental budgets, financial performance, and profitability through strategic planning and cost‑efficient operations.
Training, Development & Succession Stability
- Establish a team of departmental trainers responsible for onboarding excellence, service consistency, and continuous skill development. Create and lead a Train‑the‑Trainer program to equip trainers with coaching skills, instructional techniques, and brand‑aligned communication standards.
- Develop leadership pathways to strengthen internal talent, support succession planning, and maintain long‑term operational stability.
- Build and maintain SOPs for all F&B departments to ensure clarity, accountability, and operational continuity.
Member Experience & Culture
- Maintain a polished, diplomatic presence when engaging with members, including those requiring elevated levels of patience, tact, and discretion.
- Uphold BIBA’s cultural identity through service excellence, thoughtful programming, and a commitment to hospitality as an art form.
- Create new and exciting offerings and experiences to entice the creative, curious, and entrepreneurial mindsets of the member experience.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in luxury or high‑volume food and beverage environments.
- Expertise in brand start-up restaurants or hotel with a concetration in multi-brand/mulit-unit launches.
- Demonstrated success managing multi‑outlet operations, production kitchens, or catering programs.
- Strong ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain high‑performing teams.
- Expertise in OS&E management, inventory systems, and cost control.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and member‑facing skills.
- Ability to navigate high‑expectation member interactions with tact and professionalism.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, operational integrity, and a culture of excellence.
- Experience with Toast, PeopleVine, Google Workspace, SevenRooms, P&L, inventory management and scheduling.
