Job Summary
Legends Gaming, one of the operating branches of Minard Enterprises, is a fast-growing company in Georgia's Class B Coin Operated Amusement Machine (COAM) industry. We are seeking a hands-on Director of Information Technology to build and lead the IT function. The Director will own technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and regulatory technology compliance as the company executes an aggressive multi-year growth plan.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the IT function from the ground up: infrastructure, networks, end-user systems, security, and support
- Establish IT systems, policies, and controls appropriate for a rapidly scaling, regulated organization
- Develop and execute the technology roadmap to support distributed gaming operations and HQ
- Lead cybersecurity strategy, risk management, audits, and incident response
- Support the company's AI-powered analytics platform for game placement and performance optimization
- Manage vendor relationships across hardware, software, connectivity, and managed services
- Ensure business continuity, uptime, and disaster recovery across all locations
- Hire and scale the IT team as the company grows
- Deliver board- and executive-grade reporting on IT performance, risk, and compliance
- Manage technology-related relationships with regulators, including the Georgia Lottery Corporation, and ensure adherence to federal and state requirements
- Partner directly with the Founder/CEO and executive team on strategic planning and execution
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership, with prior experience at a high-growth or early-stage company
- Prior Director of IT, VP of IT, or senior IT leadership experience preferred
- Government IT experience required — federal, state, or regulated public-sector environments
- Strong understanding of how to navigate federal and state regulatory requirements, including compliance frameworks, audits, and agency interactions
- Hands-on operator — comfortable building from zero, not just managing an existing team
- Proven cybersecurity background with familiarity in frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or equivalent
- Experience managing distributed infrastructure, field-deployed hardware, and multi-site operations
- Experience in a regulated industry (gaming, lottery, fintech, healthcare, or similar) preferred; COAM experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
- CISSP, CISM, PMP, or MBA preferred
Base Salary: $150,000
