Vallencourt Construction Co., Inc. has immediate opening for a CAD Technician.
Duties
- Create detailed fabrication drawings, layouts, and assemblies using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings and project specifications
- Revise and maintain drawings, ensuring accuracy of dimensions, materials, and fabrication details
- Coordinate with project managers, QA, and shop personnel on drawing changes and production needs
- Maintain organized drawing files and revision history
Requirements
- 2 years drafting experience required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid communication skills and ability to work across departments
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills (dimensions, tolerances, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
