This Finance Manager role sits in Johnson & Johnson Med. Tech Surgery U.S. and reports to the Senior Finance Manager for the JJMT Surgery U.S. Commercial GTN & Connected Insights. The preferred locations for this role are Cincinnati, Ohio and Raritan, NJ. The Finance Manager is responsible for maintenance, reporting, compliance, analytics and connected insights for the JJMT Surgery
- US Commercial gross-to-net reserves and Price/Volume/Mix metrics process. The role supports end-to-end financial strategy, forecasting, analysis, and business decision support for the total U.S. business with ~$3.7 Billion in annual revenue. The position has direct oversight and development responsibility for two (2) direct reports.
This role requires hands-on partnership with cross-functional Commercial teams including Channel Management, HCS, Contract Strategy, GAA and Enterprise Contract Management. You will lead commercial gross-to-net and price consolidation and analysis, frame and provide insights for strategic business reviews, and lead gross-to-net and price forecasts for planning cycles (Business Plan, June update, November update, LRFP, MTP). The role also leads critical monthly and quarterly revenue entries and balance sheet reconciliations and is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of JJMT Surgery automated revenue accrual rates.
You will coordinate and frame monthly PVM and price submissions, provide active leadership for Commercial Finance Signi. Fi implementation (Anaplan, Trans. Cend / Trans. Act), and coordinate quarterly and annual internal/external compliance/GAA rebate and revenue controls. Enhancing systems, analytics and reporting tools, and partnering with IT teams to support interface data validation are part of the expected work.
A bachelor’s degree is required. A major in finance or accounting is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance and/or accounting is required. A CPA, CMA, or other financial certification is preferred. Strong working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, J&J WWP’s, and J&J Finance standard methodologies is preferred.
Candidates must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills while working in a dynamic, cross-cultural team environment. A hands-on, proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for moving work forward is expected. You must apply critical thinking and sound judgment to assess issues, identify opportunities, and drive continuous process improvement. The ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively take on leadership roles in various areas is required.
Strong financial analysis, business partnering, team building, and influence management skills are preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP and planning tools) is expected; Power BI, Alteryx or similar analytics tools are preferred. Prior managerial / supervisory experience is preferred. The role also requires demonstration of an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $102,000.00 - $177,100.00. This position may require up to 5% of domestic travel.
