Summary of Position: Accomplishes production results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and apprising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating; coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures. Must be able to relocate seasonally.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Include nut are not limited to the following)
· Maintains staff by orienting and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
· Ensures that all production orders are met
· Follows all GMP and food safety policies, and ensures that these polices are followed by employees
·Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
·Reviews employee’s work performance
·Reviews and approves employee’s timesheets for payroll processing
·Supervises department employees in labor operations as assigned
·Reviews daily production schedule for the department to plan work and personnel assignments for the shift.
·Contacts engineering and maintenance departments for required repairs.
·Prepares and/or processes personnel actions such as promotions, appointments, transfers, leaves of absences.
·Coordinates time off requests to ensure adequate coverage.
·Participates in the hiring and promoting of staff within the work unit supervised.
· Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance and established policies and procedures.
· Applies company employee relations policies in all dealings with employees.
·Determining training needs to improve performance.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
