Role Description The Assistant role at JUCCEE Shorts is a part-time, remote position based in Atlanta, GA is a plus. The Assistant will support day-to-day operations across creative, production, and administrative workflows, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating internal and external communications. This role will help organize documents and project assets, support production planning, track deadlines, and ensure smooth logistics for shoots, workshops, and events. The Assistant will also assist with basic research, preparing decks or summaries, and maintaining organized files and databases related to creators, partners, and ongoing projects. Working closely with cross-functional team members, the Assistant will contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on emerging storytellers and vertical content. This position is unpaid, but provides a solid opportunity to grow into a permanent position.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to manage schedules, deadlines, and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional email correspondence, meeting notes, and internal documentation.
- Proficiency with office and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, shared drives, basic project tracking tools).
- Attention to detail and reliability in handling logistics, file management, and document preparation.
- Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners is a plus but not a deal breaker.
- Demonstrated interest in film, TV, digital media, or short-form content, especially vertical storytelling and emerging creator communities.
- Comfort with basic research, data gathering, and preparing concise summaries or presentations.
- Previous experience in an assistant, coordinator, or administrative role in media, entertainment, or a creative field is a plus.
- Adaptability, initiative, and a willingness to learn new tools, workflows, and industry practices.
